Acrylic is a method of nail extension based on the combination of acrylic powder (polymer) and liquid acrylic liquid (monomer). The acrylic technique is appreciated and willingly used in Nail Art championships, due to the specificity of the method and the ease of decorating and the effects that we can obtain. A wide range of colors, pigment base and a variety of covering or accessories allow you to create the most fancy decorations, such as: abstract or stained glass patterns, bas-reliefs, 3D patterns, and even jewelry, or figurines.

When modeling nails, an important technical element in the acrylic method is the appropriate selection of the proportion between the monomer and the polymer, not only due to the hardening time of the product, but also to meet the expectations, resulting in permanent extended nails. In ornamentation, we can maneuver a bit with the selection of proportions depending on the effect we want to achieve. The rarer ball allows us to make, among others: patterns in a technique resembling "painting", shading the background, as well as decorative elements with an outline of the edges. The great advantage of this method is not only the fact that we do not need additional devices such as a UV lamp or additional minutes to wipe the dispersion layer, but also the ability to work with the material at the moment of its polymerization.
