Home foot care - discover the power of Epsom salt
Nappa Epsom salt for soaking softens the skin, relieves muscle tension, reduces swelling, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Epsom salt, also known as English or bitter salt, is an inorganic compound of sulfuric acid and magnesium. It resembles coarse kitchen salt, appearing as large white crystals. It is known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
An Epsom salt bath offers solutions for common foot problems – it softens calluses and corns, improves the appearance of dry heels, helps treat bacterial and fungal infections, reduces swelling and muscle tension, and decreases foot perspiration. It also soothes tired and sore feet after a long day or physical effort (e.g., after a workout). Bitter salt is also used to relieve symptoms of atopic dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. Epsom salt is suitable for a relaxing full-body bath as well. Just add it to a tub of warm water.
